About NOYA

I started playing around with Photoshop when I was 16 years old. My father had a business in VoIP and had the software lying around. He encouraged me to install it on my then Windows XP computer. I did, it was cool. But then, he went a step further: he purchased a domain from AIT, some webhosting, and bought a template from them as well. He asked me to do something I had never done or though to do before: build a website.

At the time I didn’t think the task was impossible to do, just maybe, a little bit challenging. So between law homework, trigonometry and The Essential Guide to Dreamweaver CS3 with CSS, Ajax, and PHP, I slowly learned about HTML, CSS, some JavaScript and got a taste of PHP. But I was still at a loss as to how to make it a website.

Then, a vendor who worked with my Dad came over one day, and my Dad told him about my exploits in making a website yet my plight in making my website, a website website. Alas, WINSCP came into my life. He showed me how to find and login to my AIT website, upload the files and voila, my website was alive. Something else was born that day as well, a love and passion for all things design. It started out with web, then moved into graphics and now, video and social media.

In 2012 I got the courage to start posting ads on Craigslist and Kijiji, advertising my services in web and print. I got alot of hits, not a lot of calls, but the few that came in helped me hone my skills and learn more about this new world.

I may have made my first website for free (it was for my Dad, come on!), but I didn’t think about the possibilities of actually being able to make money off of this work that I loved so much. The rest as they say… is history.

I’m self taught: everything that I know I taught myself: WordPress, Joomla, SEO, social media & advertising, graphic design, print ready formats, everything. There is nothing that I can not do in these fields and many more, simply ask.  I am always open to accept new projects and ideas, and at those times that I do take a break, I never go too far away from my first love. So now you know a lot more about NOYA: brightening your world through the web, print and media. Oh, and by the way, my name’s Christina :)

This totally depends on you... sort of. Our basic structure comes in 3 steps: concept, design and presentation. The CONCEPT stage is where we come together - whether over the phone, email, Skype or text - and see what your needs are. Step two design means we go to work on what it is that you need, it could be several logo drafts, a wireframe for your website etc. Finally presentation is where we handoff your project to you. Obviously we show you how to use it before sending you into the world.
Glad you asked. We accept payments in 2 stages: one before getting started on any project and lastly once the project has met your standards. We require a 50% deposit on all projects over $100. Projects that are under $100 require 100% payment before we start working. Payment can be made by any of the payment methods listed under the "Payment Methods" FAQ question.
At NOYA we are quite accepting of payment methods. We accept all major credit cards - and now Visa/Mastercard Debit cards as well as prepaid/reloadable cards - PayPal, Interac Email Money Transfers, bank transfer and sometimes cold hard cash.
We are available via the phone, text, email, Skype and Teamviewer.
Well this all depends on several factors. As a hard and fast rule, first deposits are non-refundable. This covers the consultation, R&D, and our time spend on working prior to delivery.
